PWYW (Pay What You Want) Commissions

If you're on a budget or just want to explore a flexible commission option, consider the PWYW (Pay What You Want) approach. How It Works:Choose Your Price: Pay any amount within the stated minimum and maximum limits. The level of detail and size of the image will be based on the amount you pay.Describe Your Vision: While you may specify the general mood and character, all other elements of the sketch—including composition and additional features—will be determined by me.Artistic Freedom: PWYW commissions grant me greater artistic freedom for the final composition.Review and Approve: An initial WIP sketch will be provided for your review, and minor adjustments can be made at this stage.Payment and ETA: Payment is required upfront to reserve your commission slot. Expect the completed artwork within 1-24 business days from the start of the sketch depending on the detail of the work.Price Range:Minimum: $15 USD
Maximum: $500 USD
The higher your payment, the more time and detail can be invested in your artwork.Note: Just like other commission types, the final composition may vary from initial concepts or examples. I reserve the right to adjust the artwork for the most aesthetically pleasing result.

Supplying References

The Importance of Clear and Professional ReferencesYour reference material serves as a roadmap for creating your commission. To ensure accuracy and efficiency, it's critical that the references you provide are both clear and professional. Ambiguous or conflicting references can cause delays and may compromise the quality of the final piece.Best Practices for Supplying References:•Quality Over Quantity: A single high-quality, professional-level reference sheet or image is often more useful than multiple, lower-quality doodles or sketches. Make sure the reference material clearly depicts elements like hair, eyes, clothing, etc.•Labeling: If you're providing multiple references, label them explicitly (e.g., "Hair," "Eyes") to indicate what each represents.•Non-Conflicting Information: All materials should align with one another in terms of style and specific elements. Conflicting references will complicate the design process.•Visual Aids: High-quality photographs or drawings are the most effective forms of reference.•Written Descriptions: Detailed textual outlines are also acceptable in addition to visual reference.•Mood Boards: Collections of images, colors, and text are also welcomed to convey the mood or style you're aiming for.Special Note on Hand-Drawn References: While hand-drawn images can be charming, they must meet a certain level of clarity and quality to be used as a reference. If your reference is a doodle or lacks clear detail, it may not be suitable, and you may be asked to provide additional clarification.Character Reference Sheets: If you have a comprehensive character reference sheet or a previous image of professional quality that covers all required elements, there's no need to provide multiple references. Ensure that the character reference sheet or image is clear, high-resolution, and labeled appropriately.
